Eat – Sicilian street food in Florence at Arà: è Sicilia

One of favourite places to grab a quick lunch is Arà: è Sicilia on via degli Alfani, 127r in Florence.

A stones throw from the Accademia, I come here for my arancini and cannoli fix, but they also have a nice selection of filled breads, delicious caponata and other sweet treats!

My top choice for the arancini is the sardine, fennel and pine nut one, but if not the savoury pistachio flavour is a very close second and the squid ink one coming right behind. But to be honest they are all delicious.

Make sure to leave room for the ricotta filled cannoli before you leave, or some of their award winning gelato!

Open 10 – 22 everyday.
